This fascinating structure -- "the radar base" -- is perched on a hill atop our village, visible from afar, but shrouded by the trees of secrecy ... And now, I'm aware that curiosity killed the cat, but it shouldn't be too rough on a harmless photographer who fully respected the inner (and most impressive) fence ... So, here it is "that golf ball thing", up close and impersonal.
