Colchester grabbed a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a pair of singles, but BFA roared back with 5 in their half of the first and maintained control the rest of the way, finishing with a 6-1 win to improve to 12-0. Kate pitched the complete game, giving up 3 hits, walking 2, and striking out 5. The defense was flawless again, with Megan, Mikaela, Erin, Steph, and Heather all contributing fine plays. Offensively, the Comets were off and running, paced by the speed of Jenna & Lyndsi and strong bats throughout the lineup. Respected rival and Rocket friend Nikki pitched a fine game for Colchester.
