Our friends who have a delightful camp on Lake Carmi hosted a 4th of July celebration ... and we went! It was actually a very nice social engagement - highlighted by beautiful weather, Mel's fruit skewers, engaging conversation, Marilyn's fondu magic, Linda's fire, Chrissy's peanut butter pie, Tim's music, and surprising fireworks. Naturally, I took some pictures -- of the fireworks, which is always an adventure in lighting and focus. I didn't have the tripod with me, so shot handheld and played with settings, most of them coming in at 1/250th, asa 2500 or 3200, and manual focus set at infinity. A decent experiment.
