Emily graduated "pro merito" from BFA St. Albans in June of 2009 ... a high school career which included chairing the National Art Honor Society (earned an award in the Congressional Art Contest), being a member of the National Honor Society (earned the Presidential Scholarship at NHIA and the Green Mountain Scholarship at SMC), traveling the world (time in Italy in 07 and then Spain in 09), participating in the Governor's Institute for Art (thriving amongst an enclave of artists), working as a camp counselor at Smuggs in the summers (buying her own Soobie), and playing on the Varsity Lacrosse team that went to the state semi-finals (even scored a playoff goal) ... She earned the "Art Student of the Year" award and won numerous BFA & NHIA scholarships -- which will serve her well as she heads to New Hampshire Institute of Art in the Fall to major in Art Education while concentrating in painting. We're very proud of the effort she's put in ... and very blessed to have had such wonderful people in her life. She's enjoyed great friends, great teachers, great mentors, great times ... Bravo, Em!
