We were treated to a grand evening of pontoon boat racing, fireworks, and an impromptu Grimmer concert as we joined friends at Lake Carmi in celebration of the 4th of July in 2011 ... Pontoon boat racing leaves alot to be desired from a spectator standpoint ... I should have been better at bean bag tossing ... Rushing fireworks to get done before a thunderstorm is a great approach ... and Jack & Abi Grimmer are incredibly gifted musicians!! The photos are a bit lacking, especially the night concert shots inside the dimly lit camp, but they are delicious memories of an evening with good friends. We are truly blessed -- life is good.
