The Fairfield team hosted a young Richmond team on June 27 -- as good hosts, they lent them two strong hitters to fill their team, but the kindness didn't extend much farther, as Fairfield rolled to a 15-0 (?) win ... Callie threw well on the mound, mixing in some changeups at the request of a future coach in the crowd and the girls played good defense and ran the bases well. Emmer made her regular season return to 2nd Base but nothing got hit to her, still, it was good to see her back there!
