Valley of the Gods, UT

Just 20 miles or so north of Monument Valley, in southern Utah, is a little known gem of a place called the Valley of the Gods. Not as big as Monument Valley, it is still just beautiful. It's also a lot of fun to contemplate the fact that the boulder on the right side of the road came down off the butte on the left side of the road . . . Since our first visit there, they've improved the road. The road used to be pretty hairy, but now it's pretty tame. My wife likes the new road, I liked the old one. ;-)
