so I get this great new lens. Where better to put it through its paces than at Lake Hefner, on a beautiful June day, shooting my favorite kiteboarders. Then, smack in the middle of a 7fps burst, the camera dies. without going into a lot of technical jargon, let's just say, it really, really died. $470.00 and three weeks later, it's fixed. I sent it off to Nikon, and what they sent back was, for all intents and purposes, a brand new camera. The replaced the major guts, and some of the outside things as well. They updated the firmware. Did a great job. But that's why it's taken so long to get these posted. Got some nice shots of the guys, too.
