Olympus SP-560 ~ First Images and Impressions ~ [6 galleries]

As a member of the "UZI" cult, I am totally Ecstatic about this little camera!!!
My beloved UZI is breathing it's last breath...EVERY symptom of failure is showing up now, but so far I've been able to keep it limping along.
I have taken over 40,000 pictures with the Olympus C2100UZI since I got it in May of 2002.
It has well served my needs and when Oly stopped servicing it I became very dismayed.
For various reasons, both economic and ergonomic (as in weight), DSLR will not work for me.
So, I took a leap and got the new Olympus SP-560UZ with 8mp, 18x zoom, and tons of features and settings.
After only five weeks and 2400+ images taken, I know this is just the "ticket" for me!!!

I have added four images to this gallery; two of the camera w/attachments and two to show the 18x zoom power [edited 12/22]
