Robin Inspired December 30

Robin Mitchell's galleries have fascinated me since shortly after I began posting on pbase (thanks to an encouraging comment he left which pointed me to his work). He takes simple objects and brings out a sensuality and dimension to them that has inspired me to take a closer look at curve, shape, design, the play of light and positioning of objects together. I saw the shapes of these two and thought of masculine and feminine - a broad shoulder on one, rounded hip on the other.
This doesn't come near to his talent or expertise, but is a small way of saying thank you for the inspiration, suggestions, hints on ways to improve what I do and encouragement. Thank you, Robin.

Donna, First let me say that you did a wonderful job. The black space on the right really brings out the shapes and as many would say, what would a man be without a woman? The masculine shoulder would not be enough to carry th photo by itself. Secondly, thank you for your kind words. It has been a pleasure viewing your work over the past 6 months.

A very interesting way of seeing objects, Donna. Very truthful too, I can see the shoulder and the hip now. I like the light shade with the see through glass as well. Very nice.

Very very nice - you "saw" the shoulders and hips very well in these objects - I don't know that I could have seen that. Nicely done. And B&W works so well with this.
