Beach Bird's-Eye (Alectryon coriaceus)

This large shrub/small tree was in heavy fruit at Double Island Point and attracting Rose-crowned Fruit-doves and Topknot Pigeons to the feast.
The fruit is unusual in that it comprises two large arils wrapped partly around the seed.
