For the final five days, we stayed in national park accommodation in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park.
This is the mountain overlooking the city of Chiang Mai and it is more famous for its temple and the surrounding open marketplace.
But tucked not far away is the national park headquarters, a pleasant place to stay and base for a final restive period of walking through the forest.
