Ed Hay was the ramp manager for Aero Facilities, later known as Page Avjet, the largest FBO (fixed base operator) at Miami International Airport in the 70's and 80's. Ed was a large gentleman and I liked talking with him and I admired his quick wit and retorts. My condolences to his wife Bonnie, who also worked there as a customer service representative, and his family.

I KNEW ED WELL. I FIRST MET HIM WHEN HE WAS IN CHARGE OF FUELING FOR PAGE AVJET AND THEY FUELED 60 FLIGHTS PER DAY. HE RAN A FLAWLESS OPERATION.
AFTER ED WAS LAID OFF , I HIRED HIM TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THE VEHICLE MAINTENCE DEPARTMENT AT ARROW AIR WHEN I WAS THE V.P. OF MAINTENANCE. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING JOB HE DID.
ED WAS A BIG MAN WITH A BIGGER HEART. I MISS HIM.
MY CONDOLENCES TO BONNIE.

We were truly saddened to hear about Ed's passing. We met Ed & his wife during the 80's and enjoyed every moment spent with them during our weekly bowling outings. He was a great supporter of our aviation publication, Aviation News. Our condolences to his wife and family ... Ed will be missed by all who knew him.

Truly sad to note the death of Ed Hay. I was a lucky guy to have worked with and for him at Miami Aero Facilities 1974-77. The man knew more about corporate aviation & its people than anyone I have ever met. Heartfelt condolences to his lovely wife, Bonnie and their extended family. - Bill Sullivan

Ed was a great boss. I worked for him from 1978 to 1980 at Facility Services (MIA). He treated you like family and he expected you to do your job but have fun. Bonnie was also a great person to work around and I wish her well with her great loss.
