Yes, there was a camp ground with cabins on the Cut south of the Track. Our scout troop used it many times in the early 60's

Was there an old boy scout camp with huts just south of the track in the 70s

The dog track was there until at least the late 1970s as I worked there in the mid 1970's as an usher.
