Frances Wodzinski was a young lady about to be married the following month to Mathew Buscema and she was selected from many applicants to be in the The Miami News' annual bridal section of the newspaper. The bridal section was an insert into the regular newspaper before the heavy June wedding season. It contained articles for bride-to-be's, wedding and reception tips, and ads from companies catering to people who were about to be married. The News sent a photographer and Frances to my home where I met them with fresh newspapers that I had folded and packed across the street at Dotty Cheleotis' (Miami News counselor) home where the trucks delivered the papers for the area every afternoon. I had to keep my right arm out of view because I had a new large plaster cast on it due to a broken bone in my hand from it colliding with the back of Dougie Schmidt's (neighbor boy across the street) head a few days before.
