Thanks to Stingaree Fred Darwick for providing this image. There are still some missing names so if you are in the photo and not named please let us know and we'll add it. Most of the kids in this photo went on to Shenandoah Junior High. From there most of them went on to Coral Gables Senior High, Miami Senior High or Edison Senior High, graduating in 1953.

1944 before the freedom flights from Cuba.. This was when Miami was Anglo!

Hi Don, I'm Jana Agnew, the unknown girl in the third row -- far left. I now live in Sparks, Nevada. This is a real trip down memory lane, thank you. Did you know that Mrs. Carpenter was the first Orange Bowl Queen? And, it's not Buddy Aylor, his name is Vernon.

"unknown girl," third row, is my sister, Jana Agnew. I was amazed to find this.
