1940's - looking north at a "Beach bus" #404 on the mainland in Miami on N. E. 1st Avenue

Near downtown Miami, Florida

Thanks to Martha Pierson for supplying the photo. The "June Apartments" are on the left side past the bus. The buses on Miami Beach were known as "Beach buses" to distinguish them from the bus line on the mainland owned by the Pawley family. Thank you to Spike for moving the location from NE 2nd to NE 1st Avenue.

Don,
I believe this was taken on NE 2nd Ave, the Dolphin Hotel is just to the right of the bus.
