Great Site. I went to Sylvania Heights Elem. In the First grade we took a field trip to the dairy in 1943
Wow! This really takes me back. My mom would load me and my sisters in the car on Sunday to get ice cream there. We lived on SW 10th ST and 19th Avenue, but it seemed we were "way out in the country" when we went there.

This was originality called Thomas Dairy. My Mother would send me to purchase buttermilk. We had our own gallon jug and it cost twentyfive cents a gallon.
