June 2006 - Artie Borreca and Jerry Kettleman

Miami Lakes, FL

Artie Borreca and Jerry Kettleman went to Palm Springs Junior High and Hialeah High School with me from 1961 to 1965. Artie and Jerry were really good friends in high school and afterwards. Artie retired from the Hialeah Fire Department in 1995 and currently lives in west Hialeah. Jerry was in the area visiting from his home in Tallapoosa, GA.

Jerry Kettleman passed away on December 2, 2011, in Tallapoosa, Georgia. RIP long time friend!

Boy, Artie looks very much the same as I remember him. And Jerry, well, he looks great compared to where we thought he would be after seeing him at the reunion.
