Painting donated to the museum by Bowie Kuhn. The painting depicts Babe Ruth's legendary "Called Shot," his famous homer against the Chicago Cub during Game Three of the 1932 World Series at Wrigley Field. Chevrolet commissioned a series of baseball scenes by Robert Thom (1915-1979) in 1976 to commemorate the centennial of the National League.
