1950's - the Dupont-Tarleton Hotel on the Miami river in downtown Miami

Downtown Miami, Florida

The First National Bank of Miami building is under construction north of the Dupont, our beautiful marble main library is visible in Bayfront Park, the Miami Herald building has not been constructed on the bay at Venetian Causeway, there is no bridge to Dodge Island because the Port of Miami was on the mainland north of Bayfront Park and it looks like the Julia Tuttle Causeway (I-195) is under construction beyond the Venetian Causeway.
