1953 - Eastern Air Lines Super Constellation taxiing out to runway 9R at MIA with MIAD building in the background

Miami International Airport, Florida

This is a still shot from the Eastern Air Lines promotional movie "Flying with Arthur Godfrey" which is really interesting to watch. In the movie they are supposedly taxiing at Idlewild Airport in New York for takeoff on flight 601 to Miami. However this taxiing scene was filmed at Miami International Airport as they taxied to runway 9R with the MIAD buildings in the background. In the film they take off on runway 9L. I believe he is actually taking off from runway 17, which was fairly new at the time. After the end of the runway, there is a crossing runway, which would be 9R; followed by a large body of water, which would be Blue Lagoon. Also, at 19:21 on the counter, you can just make out the 35 marking at the end of the runway.
