Thank you to Susan Lowden Jacobs for contributing this great old image. After graduating from Hialeah High in 1969, Susan began flying for Delta in 1971, based in ATL for 3 months and MIA for 6 years. She then moved to California in 1978 and commuted to DFW for her flights for a year and a half before resigning in 1979 due to the long commutes.

My dad used to date a National Airlines flight attendant named, Jackie Klein, from 1969-1972. She was the sweetest person you could ever meet. She would have us(dad, brother, me) over to her apartment on South Bayshore Drive in the Grove for cookouts on the balcony and swimming in the pool.(Summer Hill Apts.) I wish he had married her...
