Karen was born as a Bicentennial Baby in Hialeah Hospital in October, 1976. She was raised in Miami Lakes, attending Miami Lakes Elementary, Miami Lakes Junior High and Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High. She was on the danceline and a cheerleader in high school. She attended Florida State University starting in the fall of 1994 and graduated in early 2000. She moved to Colorado Springs, CO, in August 2000 thanks to numerous previous visits influencing her to live her life in a more mountainous state.

On March 31st, 2007, our daughter Karen was married to Steve Kramer in Miami Lakes. The photos are in a gallery at: http://www.pbase.com/donboyd/wedding_stevekaren

Heh Don, I'm blown away!!! This is Kathy Brown....National Airlines employee w/Judy - years and years ago! Can it be that long? I see you've continued with the photography. Beautiful pics of Karen - she grew up didn't she! What ever happened to Judy - I see she has a new name....got an e-mail for her? My freind sent me the Old Miami stuff and I noticed your name.....it's amazing. Are you still in Miami? Hope all is well. See you have a new family (new to me!) Wanted to say how wonderfullllllllllll your web page is off your family, came across it by chance and seeing your lovely daughter its a mirror image off my girl, Anna but who is 24 this year and her childhood is so much like your Karens warm and wonderfullll with caring loving parents Jim and Chris from Lancashire England .
