Heavenly Lake Namtso, Tibet

The highest saltwater lake in the world at 4720 meters. In 2005, Lake Namtso was selected as one of the five most beautiful lakes in China by Chinese National Geography magazine. In Tibetan, Namtso means 'Heavenly Lake' and it is considered one of the three holy lakes in Tibet.
