Last year I had the great opportunity to have a photoshoot of 28 men and women in a home for mental and physically disabled people. The purpose was that at the moment of the exposition it could be sold. They want to build another wing for the inhabitants and as always there is a shortage of money.
Next to the photo-experience it was great to learn to know the inhabitants themselves, together with the professionals, trying to do their utmost making for their 'kids' a happy family. It gave me great friendship from everyone.
The photo's are sometimes contested, but after discussion it was very much appreciated. I did not want to make 'beautifull' shots. I wanted to show some emotions, hard and real.
