Missing Turkey Vulture migration at LEMP in the morning, we went our own way. At 3:15 pm, we pulled into the picnic parking area at Sterling State Park. Immediately before me was a "kettle" of Turkey Vultures. Just dots in the sky! Then, they actually flew right over us - heading into the afternoon sun! Our day was fulfilled! Not just Ma and Pa Kettle, but all the kids as well!
