Holland Ponds

Holland Ponds is a wonderful nature place off Ryan Road in Shelby Twp., Macomb Co., Michigan. We just love going there and want to share our photos with our friends! This Spring of 2009, we have found great interest and solace in watching the big majestic wading birds - Great Blue Herons - build nests and make babies high in the treetops!
Now we keep going there because of the great diversity of other wildlife and plants.
