Beaudette Park, Pontiac, Michigan

Beaudette Park is an urban park in Pontiac, Michigan. It is a short drive for us and one of our favorite places to watch birds. In the winter, Dawson's Mill Pond (the impoundment on the Clinton River there) is a great place to see diving ducks. When all other local lakes are frozen, Dawson's Mill Pond remains mostly open due to the flow of water. In the spring, Beaudette is great for migrating warblers from late April thru May.
