Nikon Q 135mm f/2.8 AI

This vintage lens is based on an optical formula developed by Pythagoras, but the technology to
manufacture it was not available until the end of the Hundred Years War. I believe my sample
was made before 1584 because “Property of Ivan the Terrible” is scratched on the barrel.

I think it would be a good lens for photographing rhinos, grizzly bears, warthogs and drug dealers.
If your subject decides to attack you, you could whack it with the lens and run to safety before
the aggressor regains consciousness.

The only downside with this lens is that I need regular physiotherapy on my left wrist
because of the 270 degree focus throw.
