Roommate Needed

Hooray! You just found the best virtual tour website in G'ville for finding roommates (in my biased opinion). Here is the deal...I am a 26 y/o UF Industrial/Systems Engineering and Business Administration graduate who just could not abide the typical college dorm/apartment life. I found a private lender to loan me a fat-stack of money and I bought a house and five acres of land. To make the mortgage each month, I share the rooms with people who need flexibility and a good deal. Over the past 6 years, this situation has helped out several people. The property is located off of North 34th Street about 7 min. outside city limits. It is a quick, easy drive to anywhere in Alachua and North Gainesville including downtown. The deal includes a shop, securable storage, covered parking, shooting range, and no deposit or lease agreement. Students and professionals welcome. All this for $400/mo.which includes electric, water, 2 landlines, satellite TV, and lawn service. Current age range is 23-32. Contact searle@ufl.edu or call (352)214-0162 for more information.

Current Situation: 1 vacancy available. Present roommates, Scott and Curtis, are open minded, honest, mature individuals, with a particular interest in entrepreneurial activities, motorcycles, traveling/adventures, drinking coffee, and engineering. Roommates are rarely home at the same time as everyone has ambitious schedules. Always looking for similar people to enhance the living situation.

Terms: My company, Home Managment Services, Inc. manages the property. The lease is customizable to the time period desired. First and last months payment is due at move-in. No inside pets are permitted. The home has never had any inside pets.

Additional Services: In addition to providing peeps with a good place to live, I provide moving services also at a much better price than moving companies. I have a cargo van and a 16' enclosed trailer to move people as close as down the street to as far as across the country. Local moves are especially low cost.

For international travelers and professionals in the area on business, I can provide a fully insured, maintenance covered rental car at half the cost of a rental agency as long as you have a valid drivers license. The car is a 1998 Ford Contour (30 mpg). Available after 4/30/08.

Intense movers at work. Picture taken in El Paso at the only restaruant we stopped at. All other meals were from a choke and puke. My brother and I moved a 3 bedroom house to Phoenix and then moved a 2 bedroom apartment back to Ocala from Phoenix. A total of 8000 lbs. of cargo moved 4200 miles in 4.5 days with a total of 12 hrs of sleep (in the van) and 80+ hrs of driving. Even after losing 10 lbs, not having a bath the entire trip, getting detained for 45 min. by 3 backwoods Mississippi Troopers and k-9 narcotics unit, and running midday across the 108 degree desert with no A/C, we would do it again given the opportunity.
