Seven of us from LaCrosse Baptist Church (LaCrosse Floida, just north of Gainesville, home of the U of Florida) went to Lakeshore Baptist Church in Mississippi to help out during the Christmas vacation. Several from our group spend all their time making meals for about 55 workers and several of us spent time converting an old carport into a livable structure. I hope our efforts made a difference.

The photos below are arranged to show the location of the church, our kitchen crew (they did a fantastic job), the house our group worked on and some of the local devastation that is still there over a year later.
