Yes, I remember the photos of the Palma rifle. Truly a work of art. You did a fantastic job.

As an example of wood working skills, here is an article and some photos of the scope that the mirror came out of. http://www.floridastars.org/loftus01.html While the scope came out well, my skill level doesn’t come close to your ability and talent.

Years ago when I was in high school I helped build the 18 inch reflector telescope at Millbrook School for Boys, Millbrook NY, now called Millbrook prep school
Neal Howard was the fellow in charge and has written quite a few books on building telescopes and observing satellites.

Enjoyed your galleries! Not sure if you recall, but I'm the one that you commented on my gallery for building the Palma rifle.
