I have also been having a small problem with Aphids, but they only show up on the very ends of the vines, on new groth. Instead of spraying, I have just been using my fingers to crush them and pull them off. It works but is messy and, if your not careful, the ants will bite you. Next year, more spraying ... for bugs and fungus ... and weeds!
