It is pretty obvious that all the vine in the first row are dead from the lightning strike. I found information on the internet which suggests putting a grounding wire every 100 feet (about 33 meters) and making sure the wire is in the ground at least 15 to 18 inches. I'm going to use the 9 ga. trellis wire, becasue it's strong, and push it about two to three feet into the ground. I'll put five wires along the every trellis; one at each end and one every 100 feet. My rows are 420 feet long
