This is the first time that I had attended this event, it was great! The main reason for going there was to see the beautiful Sandhill Cranes...never disappointing to watch these wonderful birds.

I signed up for a couple of their outings, one to Lodi Lake and the other was birding 'hotspots' where they also do their annual bird count.

Another event they usually have at these festivals is 'refuge birds' where you really get an up-close look of some amazing species.
