One other thing that seemed to be in good supply all over, besides nice older buildings that were restored or at least in good shape and in use, were deserted and decaying buildings and other ruins. As most of you know, I love things like that. The problem is that often there was no place to pull off the road to photograph them. In this case I got lucky by running into slow moving traffic and I was able to shoot this from the driver's seat over my daughter on the passenger side while the car was briefly stopped. Somewhere along the long and winding road between Dingle and Doolin.
