I think I was using Adobe Lightroom. Its b/w conversion is very good and very flexible.

Nice job covering this event which I usually attend but couldn't
this time around. I heard the new setting was especially nice

Thanks, I just got this lens too and it's now one of my favourites. It's equivalent to a 50mm 1.4 normal lens on 35mm film. Sharpness, contrast, and color is superb, even wide open.
