For several years now, I have really wanted to get my backyard into shape. What I want is an English style garden with Texas hardy plants. In an Internet search, I discovered Weston Garden is South Forth Worth that specializes in that sort of gardening. They even had demonstration gardens. Not knowing anything about gardening, I surrounded myself with the best gardeners that I know (MrsEllisSouth, winter27, and blondrose) and we all took a trek to the other side of the metroplex. While the gardens were looking a bit "leggy" (a new term I learned and had to figure out what it meant by context), they were still nice and gave the girls a good idea of what I want. From here, maybe next year when planting time comes, they can help me design a yard so that mine will look as pretty as theirs.
