Challenge: Graffiti or Poster Art

Work, Irving, TX

**Best viewed in original if you wish to read the poster text.**

Well, I got nothing for this challenge. I live in an amazingly clean area when it comes to graffiti and going down to areas where there is graffiti after dark which is the only time I'm not working during this busy time of benefit open enrollment is not really the safest thing to do.

So, my thoughts turned to poster art. I'm not entirely sure what poster art includes. Time is at a premium, so anything requiring fancy Photoshop is not going to happen. This leaves the artwork that I stare at every day at work. (14 hours worth of staring at it on Tuesday)

Not exactly a poster, but a series of calendar art that I have turned into a poster. It lines the side of my filing cabinet purely for my enjoyment. This clever take on the traditional motivation posters that line offices is the product of a company called Despair, Inc. For three years, my boss, the Director of Human Resources, believed that I was truly motivated. It wasn't until one day when I e-mailed him the one on planning that he realized that I display some very un-HR artwork.

For others defacing items, see The Thursday Challenge.

Gets my vote. I have lots of the Despair proverbs (from the net). I too am very cynical on the way mis-management is done.

This is great, and thanks for inspiring my father's chrismas present!

Very fun. :) I've seen those before- but I always like them. :)

Motivational.

That is some funny stuff- and knowing you, I can see this in your work area.

Great posters, love them.
Recommendation:
Viewing is only worthwhile in large or original otherwise the text is illegible.
Please click at the link to Despair. Inc, it is well worth your time to look at all their posters and read all their captions.
(I have no stake in this company, although maybe I should)

I really love this entry. Your story behind it is great and the image is beautiful.
