We checked in on Cat on September 5 at the rehabilitation hospital. All things considered, she's doing well. She was practically giddy at having been home earlier in the day for the first time since the accident over a month ago and finally being able to see and hold her dog, Brillo, again. She also received news that she would soon be released to go home as soon as her house was wheelchair friendly. Last month, she was looking at months in a the hospital. Now she's looking at returning home.

I brought her the original B&W portrait I took in the hospital on my last visit. Since she is a scrapbooker too, I thought she might like another one in the rehab center to document her journey to healing. This time, Scott was with me, so he was able to snap one of the two of us.
