King and Queen Sculpture (1952-53) in Bronze by Henry Moore (1898-1986) born in Caslteford, England.
I walked into the sculpture garden and saw this lovely statue just calling out to hold my bag. I really wanted My Bag's picture in the Queen's lap, but her arms were such that I was afraid that the bag could damage her, so I gently set him in the King's lap and snapped a picture. Shortly after that the security guard walked by, and then I noticed the "Do Not Touch" sign with the explanation that the bronze is delicate in areas and there is a protective coating of wax on them to protect from the elements. Well, at least I was careful.
