The last day. We started early, and as we needed to be out of the accommodation so early. As a
result we decided to dive out of the campsite, and headed into the loch. It was flat calm, as you
can see.
We were then treated to fresh water sitting on top of the loch. A very strange sight, as it
appears oily and quite difficult to see through. Underneath, it almost shimmers. I of course just
thought there was something wrong with my eyesight/mask. Until eventually I realised what it was.
Took some time though!
This time I was straight into the water, and found a jellyfish. Unfortunately though I was having
problems with my buoyancy, and had to cut the dive shorter than I would have liked. But I still
came up quite happy, there was still a fair amount seen, including a couple of the famous Loch Fyne
oysters.
The early start also meant that I got home at a decent time too. So tomorrow may be a shot of the
traditional post-holiday washing. Or then again I might find something else. My only regret for
the weekend, was that I didn’t have an underwater housing for the camera. Another on the long list
of things I want to buy I think.
