Denver Downtown Aquarium

We stopped at the Denver Downtown Aquarium for an hour or so and it proved an interesting first attempt at aquarium photography. It was a spur of the moment decision so I didn't get a chance to read up on any tips, but some of the results didn't turn out too badly. At least it serves as an excuse for a return. Nice job and very clean gallery Dave. These all seem pretty well done and better than most of this style. I saw them first over at Webshots under susuan500 *pause* *snicker* ;-) But that's a thread of another color, hopefully under water to drown and not to swim again LOL. When viewing aquarium shots I usually sense eye strain, but not with these. The color seems balanced to my eye; and, that has to be a challenge with all the different refractive indexes and colored entertainment lights. I think you did great work, especially for a first time "snapographic" situation. g

*grin* I knew you couldn't stay away from Pbase for a whole month! *grin* And I'm glad you didn't. These shots turned out very well. I've never had anything this good when trying to get aquarium shots.
