Railway Architecture

Railways aren't just about rails and trains. These photographs look at the assortment of buildings and other architectural features that support the railways. Some are strictly functional, such as wsiting rooms that give passengers somewhere to shelter from the elements or tell them the time, so that they know how late the 8:50 is running. Others are more ornate, and intended to make a statement about the railways' owners or designers.
