Ligoua is a village about 25 kilometers beyond Obo on the road to Sudan. It was first attacked by the Lord's Resistance Army in 2008. (I first visited Ligoua then.) Following attacks in 2009, the entire population has abandoned the village and fled to the relative safety of Obo.
