Concert for Peace

On May 5, 2009, we hosted a concert by students from the University of Bangui to encourage support for the nascent peace process in the Central African Republic. American Civil Rights songs, Spirituals, and a rockin' number in Sango.

After thirty years of civil wars and coups d'etat, the Central African Republic, one of the poorest nations on earth, desperately needs peace in order to develop.
