Cayman Evacuation

Evacuation of US Citizens from Grand Cayman Island following Hurricane Ivan, September 2004.
I was the first US Government officer on the ground following the storm and in the next three days, with the assistance of about four hard working Foreign Service Officers, we helped get about a thousand people (mostly US citizens) off the island.
