texture challenge.jpg

Took a picture of a pile of kelp on the beach. Made a paper pattern out of it in Painter.
That is the basis of the painting. Then I buzzed with Buzzpro 1 and Buzzpro 3.
Also Picked one section to enlarge and move slightly and use the dbs filter "bubbles".
A change in composite method to luminosity was next and finished with a hint of a frame using Eye Candy bevel boss.

Did you mean that you buZZed with SIMPLIFIER 2 and 3? I ask because buZZpro 3.0 isn't out yet. - sky

Wow this is AWESOME! The layering effect is so good that there is a real shadow box feel to it. The subtleties that you used in the various areas of texture take us right into it! Bravo!!!

I really like this, it brings back memories of walking along the beach , finding all sorts of interesting things including the bubbles, they were always there in the kelp I saw.Thius really has a lot of emotional appeal, Robin

Way to go, Rae! I really like the paper texture you created and the collage of kelp and stuff there. I wonder what would happen if you had made the "kelp paper" a shade of green from the kelp and increased the saturation a little?
