February Challenge---Mood Boards

This month I would like you to try your hand at making an ARTISTIC MOOD BOARD.
Below I show what Wiki says about them, but all of a sudden there has been a rage of calling
mostly a "collage effect" a "mood board"

I googled mood board (you'll find my google search in the first spot) then some old fashioned mood
boards (like a wedding one where someone is sharing their vsion of color and style) and then some
very artistic ones...I did a VERY quick one I used the "collage" function in Picasa 3 (free
download) and used the breast cancer images I saved from everyone when we did that challenge in
October to make a "Mood board" of my own. I let Picasa choose the placing and the images and I
cannot say I don't LOVE it! I was surprised how much I loved it right away. It is a mood I've
been dealing with for a long time now and especially as my mom fights stage 4 breast cancer right
now.

Have fun, Choose what you want, be fun or whimsical, or moody, or dark, create a mood board as a
piece of art expressing what you wish to get across. Hope you enjoy this.

Oh and if you want to use picasa 3 to do one go to www.picasa.com download the newest verstion,
its in the tab at the top under "create" and "collage"

From Wikipedia: "Mood boards are often used by graphic designers to enable a person to illustrate
visually the direction of style which they are pursuing. However, mood boards can also be used to
visually explain a certain style of writing, or an imaginary setting for a storyline. In short,
mood boards are not limited to visual subjects, but serve as a visual tool to quickly inform
others of the overall 'feel' (or 'flow') that a designer is trying to achieve. Creating mood
boards in a digital form may be easier and quicker, but physical objects often tend to have a
higher impact on people because of the more complete palette of sensations physical mood boards
offer, in contrast with the black & white or color-prints of a digital mood board."
